MISSION

Our mission is to foster a community for, raise awareness of and destigmatize substance misuse, specifically opioid misuse, in order to combat this epidemic and its impacts on lives. We do this through the spread of RSun - our signature sunset that represents our fight.

COMMUNITY

To create and encourage an engaged community for those who are fighting, have fought, or stood by the battle of addiction, specifically opioid misuse.
To allow for a safe space to celebrate the living, help survivors and support one another.
To remind those who are enduring or have endured this battle that you are never alone.

AWARENESS

To help society realize the extent to which the epidemic of substance misuse reaches.
To encourage people to recognize addiction and to start a conversation within society.
To increase the perception and acknowledgement of substance misuse.
To hold those in our community accountable for understanding and educating ourselves on these issues.

DESTIGMATIZATION

Addiction, specifically opioid misuse, is an epidemic in our country and no one is immune.
To pass the first hurdle of acknowledgement of substance misuse and continue on to tackle the larger issues.
To encourage strength in those that reach out for help.
To restore hope in community support and encourage people to advocate for one another and fight together.
